The Gospel Revelations were a semi-professional Gospel quartet from Moundsville, WV. These “weekend warriors” enjoyed a fair amount of success sharing the Gospel in music throughout the Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania region.

Author and then-lead singer Ron Warren, known for his dry wit, writes an interesting behind-the-scenes account of the group’s experiences and the nuts and bolts of the Gospel music industry as they found it in the decade of the 1970s, when the group was not among the professionals driving the industry, but good enough to see in from their vantage point On the Edge.
