A Patriotic Musical Program for Unison/2-Part Choirs

SWEET LAND OF LIBERTY is a six-song musical reflection on our nation’s love of freedom and its source: God above. It begins with the ideals the nation’s forefathers envisioned and ends with the text of the Centennial Hymn set to the traditional tune of He Leadeth Me which gives thanks to God for the vision, the continuing fight for freedom, and a promise to make the next 100 years even better. Songs include The World Turned Upside Down; Let Freedom Reign America; The Star-Spangled Banner; My Country ‘Tis of Thee; Battle Hymn of the Republic; and, Centennial Hymn. Performance runs 20-25 minutes and includes readings to introduce each song.
